Authors are invited to submit original research and review papers to the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Multidisciplinary Innovation and Sustainability through Microsoft CMT before September 30, 2026.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in standard single-column conference format.
  • The manuscript should follow single-spaced, ten-point font formatting in the text.

Author Instructions

  • The manuscript should fall under the scope and allied areas/tracks of ETMIS 2026.
  • TPC has the full right to determine the scope before recommending the paper for review.
  • Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple conferences is not encouraged.
  • It is the responsibility of authors to submit the final camera-ready paper and copyright form after acceptance.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must complete full registration and present the paper.

Policy for Plagiarism

All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to similarity checking using a licensed version of iThenticate: Plagiarism Detection Software. Papers with a similarity index of less than 15% will be considered for review, and similarity from a single source should be less than 3%.

Authors must submit original and unpublished research work that is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts with higher similarity may be rejected at any stage of review.

Important Instructions for AI-Generated Text

The use of content generated by artificial intelligence tools, including text, figures, images, or code, must be clearly disclosed in the acknowledgments section of the submitted paper.

Authors must identify the AI system used and specify the sections where AI-generated content has been used, along with a brief explanation of the level of use. Failure to disclose such use may result in direct rejection.

Peer Review Policy

The ETMIS 2026 review process follows a Single-blind review system. The plagiarism check committee initially verifies each submitted paper using the iThenticate plagiarism detection tool before review assignment.

Each paper will be reviewed by a minimum of three subject experts, and a maximum of five papers will be assigned to a single reviewer. Papers will be selected based on technical quality, originality, relevance to the conference theme, significance, clarity, and overall contribution.

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Criteria for Paper Acceptance

  1. Relevance to Conference Themes: The paper should clearly relate to the core themes, tracks, or allied areas of ETMIS 2026.
  2. Originality and Innovation: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and should present novel ideas, methods, or applications.
  3. Technical Depth and Contribution: The work should provide meaningful technical depth and a substantial contribution to the field.
  4. Methodology and Validation: The research methodology should be robust, well described, and supported by suitable validation.
  5. Clarity of Presentation: The paper should be well structured, clearly written, and understandable to the conference audience.
  6. Ethical Consideration: Submissions should follow ethical guidelines, especially in sensitive areas such as AI, healthcare, and data privacy.
  7. Comprehensive Literature: The paper should include relevant literature, identify research gaps, and provide appropriate citations.
  8. Quality of Results and Analysis: Results should be clearly presented using tables, figures, graphs, or other suitable visual tools.
  9. Submission Guidelines: Papers must follow the prescribed page limit, format, template, and submission deadline.

Ethical Review Criteria

  • Originality: The paper must be original, non-plagiarized, and properly cited.
  • Ethical Practice: Authors must ensure transparency in data collection, use, and sharing.
  • Data Integrity: Authors must ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data and methods.
  • Acknowledgment: Proper credit must be given to funding sources, institutions, and contributors.
  • Disclosure: Authors must disclose funding sources and any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.
  • Compliance: Authors must follow conference policies and agree to corrections or retractions if required.
